Territory Sales Manager / Business Development Manager - Ophthalmology - South Midlands (incs: Coventry, Rugby, Warwickshire, Northampton and Worcestershire)

Working in the primary care team the candidate will be tasked with the following;
1.  	Improving GP and nurse knowledge of product portfolio and disease area
2.  	Working strategically with the Regional Account Team, including Hospital Account Managers and Healthcare Development Manager to highlight and educate GP’s and nurses about favourable pathways and protocols.
3. 	Gaining access to GP’s, nurses and influencers in the practices on this territory. 
4. 	Increasing market share in each area in line with company objectives. 
5. 	Role reports to the UK National Healthcare Manager.

Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is essential. It is likely you are already selling to this customer group with a proven track record of sales success.  Additionally, you are also likely to be;
• Educated to minimum of ‘A’ level standard
• Able to plan and prioritise your workload based on business potential, optimising sales potential
• Flexible in your approach to work, thriving in a small yet evolving company
• Able to communicate effectively with customers with differing needs, influencing and negotiating appropriately.
• Able to learn and communicate product information effectively
• Professional, highly motivated and keen to exceed the expectations of customers.
You will also need a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
